  • Custom QR codes

    Standard QR codes, although easily recognisable, can be an ugly part of product labelling or your design. We can make your QR code with colour and logos to better match your brand image.

    If you have a good designer, they can modify the QR codes for you. However, this is often expensive, and sometimes they can inadvertently damage the actual QR code, rendering it unscannable.

    We have dedicated designers who can provide custom QR code designs for you.

    This product includes;

    • a static or dynamic QR code (see below for the difference between static and dynamic)
    • QR code images are designed in 3 formats (SVG, PDF and PNG)

    In the comments box on the checkout page, tell us about your company’s brand and how you will be using the QR code. Please let us know the colours you would like. Please email us your logo as a PNG or JPEG file. Then our designers can create a custom QR code for you.

    The cost of a Custom QR Code is £24. Any extra design time is charged at £12 per hour.

    There are limits to the changes we can make to a QR code, as the overriding aim is to maintain its ability to be scanned. We can introduce two colours (with gradients), add a custom logo to the centre and alter the QR code’s foreground elements.

    Static and Dynamic

    STATIC QR Codes
    Static QR codes encode your URL directly in the QR code. They are permanent. They will work as long as your website URL doesn’t change. They can’t be changed, as the URL is encoded directly in the QR Code. They have unlimited scans. Static QR codes can also be used for things other than URLs, such as encoding text, v-business cards, sending emails, or SMS messages.

    DYNAMIC QR Codes
    These utilise our Dynamic QR Code service, which allows the target URL to be changed repeatedly in the future if necessary.

    Unlimited scans: Scans of the Dynamic QR Code are UNLIMITED so long as you don’t abuse the QR code with millions of scans that cause technical problems, such as crashed servers.

    Functions for life: The Dynamic QR Code, with its redirection capability, will function FREE for two years and will continue to function after that for as long as you pay an annual fee of £8.

    FREE Unlimited URL redirection: You can redirect the URL as often as you wish via our customer portal.

    Custom Tracking Reports: You can pay us for tracking reports, with prices depending on frequency, report complexity, and the number of QR codes being tracked. Please inquire for details.

  • QR Code Renewal

    Your dynamic QR code works for free for two years, then keeps redirecting as long as you pay the hosting fee. Renewal is £15 per code for each two-year block, and you can renew up to 10 years at a time.

    Your printed code never changes. Packaging, labels and signage already in circulation keep working. You’re renewing the redirection service, not buying a new code.

    Log in to the customer portal with the email you ordered under, select your codes, choose a renewal period and pay. Renewal is instant, and you can see every code’s expiry date there.

    Select as many codes as you like in one go. Bulk discounts apply automatically. Setting up a portal account is free.

    Use this if you can’t access the portal or bought your codes under a different email address. Choose your renewal period and quantity, then enter your QR code details in the “additional information” box at checkout, one per line. We’ll confirm within one business day.

    Good to know

    • Renewals are added to your current expiry date, so renewing early costs you nothing
    • Bulk discounts apply from two codes upwards
    • All codes in one transaction renew for the same period
    • Already expired? Renew, and we’ll reactivate it. Nothing to reprint. Contact us if you’re unsure of your code’s status
